Dim Yma uses social media to engage in a number of contemporary issues related to homelessness, poverty and inequality, including immigration, working conditions and government policy. However, Dim Yma is a non-partisan organisation which does not support any political party or movement but instead holds those in power to account regardless of their political affiliation.
Dim Yma will often like and retweet content from other relevant accounts, however that does not necessarily indicate an endorsement of that content in part or in whole. We take particular care to ensure that we do not engage in content that promotes any form of discrimination, be it transphobia, racism, sexism, anti-Semitism or Islamophobia.
Whilst we may make criticism of certain policies, attitudes or actions, we do not condone harassment of any sort, nor do we engage in debates which are abusive and uncivil. Our aim is to educate the public on issues relevant to our aims in a manner which is healthy and constructive without causing offence or upset. In cases where we have unwittingly offended an individual or organisation, we will seek to undetstand how the offence was caused, how it can be avoided in future and offer an apology.
